KUJA DOSHAM/MANGALIK - ADVERSE EFFECTS

In the traditional Hindu Astrology we come across Kuja Dosham in marriage match making and compatibility. The very word sends shivers along the spine of the opposite side. The moment they hear that Kuja Dosham exists in one chart, they drop it and say you find a match with similar Kuja Dosham. Kuja Dosham means the presence of Mars- Kuja-Mangalik- in houses 2,4,7,8,12 from Lagna as well from Moon sign is bad and will cause death or separation of spouse and hence should be avoided for marriage alliance unless both the parties have Kuja Dosham-Mangalik.

The second house from Lagna deals wealth, longevity, communication and transport and the presence of Mars - Kuja in this affects the smooth sail of life in these fields and thus may cause death or separation of spouse and hence should be avoided.

The presence of Mars - Kuja in 4th house from Lagna, the house that deals with the subjects of family, mother, and thus Mars, a harsh and fiery planet, causes danger to those fields governed by the 4th house and hence should be avoided for marriage alliance.

1. If Lagna or Moon sign is Cancer or Leo or Capricorn or Aries or Sagittarius this Kuja Dosham does not apply or does not harm.

2. If Mars is in Second House and the second house is Gemini or Virgo it is to be presumed that no Kuja Dosham exists. 

3. If Mars is in 12th house and the 12th house is Taurus or Libra then also he will not have the applicability of Kuja Dosham.

4. Like wise Mars in 4th house and the 4th house falls in Aries and Scorpio then Kuja Dosham does not apply.

5. If 7th house is in Capricorn or Cancer and the Mars placed in any of them, then also Kuja Dosham is not applicable.

6. If Mars is in 8th house and the 8th house falls in Sagittarius or Pisces then Kuja Dosham does not apply.

7. If Mars is associated with Jupiter (Guru/Brihaspathi) or Mars is associated with Moon or Mercury in the same sign then also Kuja Dosham is not applicable. 

8. A general opinion is that if Mars is in 2nd or 12th in the male horoscope or Mars in 4 and 7 in female horoscope or Mars in 8th in either horoscope the escape from Kuja Dosham may not be available irrespective of above exemptions.

Thus the Saturn-Pluto opposition aspect was activated by Moon causing heavy loss and deaths. 

Sun entered Aries on 20th March at hours 18.08 Kabul local time. Zero degrees of Libra was rising at that time with Sun exactly on the 7th Cusp, Saturn in the 9th house, and Venus, rulers of houses 1 & 8 in the 7th house, retrograde. The Solar Eclipse on 21st June occurred exactly on the 10th cusp of Solar Ingress. On 11th September Mars entered 4th house in opposition to 10th cusp. Moon activated the Saturn - Pluto opposition aspect in October and Solar Ingress Venus was afflicted by Sun, Mars and Jupiter. These adverse factors are responsible for the loss of national wealth and deaths in Afghanistan. It is a war against terrorism for Americans and it is a crusade or Jihad for Afghans.      Moon and Venus in Boy's chart, Sun and Mars in girls chart and
